The Cactus Cobras tipped the host Glendale Cardinals basketball team by a final score of 55-52 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Cobras face the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) in a II Section II game, on Friday, January 13. Cactus will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 6-10 record after their 48-43 league loss to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ).
