The Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Gentry Rams (Indianola, MS), 46-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Jaguars (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Greenwood, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Greenwood was tipped by Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS), 65-42, in a non-league test.

The Rams now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Rosa Fort for a 4A Region 3 test on Friday, December 15. Gentry will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 63-21 non-league loss to Bolton (Arlington, TN). The Lions record now stands at 4-5.
