The Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) basketball nipped the host Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV), 86-79 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs (21-7) will now prepare for their test against Meadows (Las Vegas, NV). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 20-6 record. In their last test, Meadows was tipped by Agassi Prep (Las Vegas, NV), 74-55, in a league test.

The Lynx now own a 10-14 record. They take the field next when they host Laughlin for a Southern 2A test on Saturday, February 11. Lincoln County will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 71-39 league loss to Agassi Prep (Las Vegas, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 3-13.
