California High School Basketball - Canyon prevails Yucca Valley

Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Yucca Valley Trojans (Yucca Valley, CA), 52-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Canyon upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Comanches host Tustin (Tustin, CA) to play the Tillers in a Century bout on Tuesday, January 13. The Tillers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Tustin lost 54-30 in their recent league bout against El Modena (Orange, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Twentynine Palms Wildcats (Twentynine Palms, CA) in a De Anza bout, on Wednesday, January 14. Yucca Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 65-45 league win over Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA).
