February 28, 2015: Denver City, TX 79323 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX) and the host Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX), saw Shallowater's basketball squad hold off Denver City by a count of 61-59.
With the victory, Shallowater upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Childress (Childress, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 3. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Childress won 69-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Idalou (Idalou, TX)
