In Friday's league game, the Holly Springs Hawks (Holly Springs, MS) football team knocked off the visiting Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS), by a score of 39-18.

The Hawks (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Charleston (Charleston, MS). The Tigers come into the 3A Region 2 game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Charleston toppled North Panola (Sardis, MS), 60-30, in a league game.
