Texas High School Basketball - Hale Center overwhelms Crosbyton
January 21, 2011: Hale Center, TX 79041 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) and the visiting Crosbyton Chiefs (Crosbyton, TX), saw Hale Center's basketball squad trounce Crosbyton by a count of 60-33.
With the victory, Hale Center upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Owls host Bovina (Bovina, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Bovina lost 58-35 in their recent league challenge against Olton (Olton, TX)
Next up, the Chiefs play the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) in a 1A-1 Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Crosbyton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 53-43 league win over Lockney (Lockney, TX).
