Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) and the visiting Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), saw Anderson's basketball squad knock off Lassen by a score of 49-40.

With the victory, Anderson improves its record to 8-17 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to battle the Miners in a Northern challenge on Friday, February 19. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 5-19. Yreka lost 82-52 in their recent league challenge against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies battle the Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA) in a Northern challenge, on Friday, February 19. Lassen will attempt to improve on its 10-14 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 47-41 league loss to Corning (Corning, CA).
