North Carolina High School Football - Piedmont trounces Forest Hills

September 7, 2018: Marshville, NC 28103

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Piedmont Panthers football squad scored a big 34-0 victory over the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina 3A match, on Friday, September 21. Piedmont will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Mavericks enter the test with a 3-1 record after their 43-42 non-league loss to Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC).

With the loss, Forest Hills drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to confront the Redhawks in a non-league test on Friday, September 14. The Redhawks come into the test with a record of 2-1. Monroe won 42-28 in their recent non-league test against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC)
