The Southern Nash Firebirds routed the visiting Southeast Halifax Trojans basketball team by a final score of 59-24 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Firebirds face the Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 2. Southern Nash will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 0-7 record after their 52-14 non-league loss to North Carolina School of Science & Math (Durham, NC).
