Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Randolph County Tigers (Wedowee, AL), 51-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Comer upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Tigers host Woodland (Woodland, AL) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 14. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Woodland lost 54-32 in their recent league bout against LaFayette (LaFayette, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL) in a 3A Area 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 15. Randolph County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 44-37 league win over Dadeville (Dadeville, AL).
