The Centennial Eagles football team (Ellicott City, MD), was ripped 59-16 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD)

The Lions (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hammond (Columbia, MD). The Golden Bears come into the Howard County challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Hammond was ripped by Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD), 12-8, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atholton for a Howard County challenge on Friday, October 16. Centennial will meet a Raiders team coming off a 35-14 league win over Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
