The Gladstone Braves basketball team scored 84 points and restricted the visiting Gwinn Modeltowners to 66 in the Braves league victory on Tuesday.

The Braves now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menominee for a Great Northern U.P. contest on Friday, January 20. Gladstone will battle a Maroons team coming off a 72-27 non-league win over Stephenson (Stephenson, MI). The Maroons record now stands at 2-6.

The Modeltowners (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI). The Hematites come into the Mid-Peninsula contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Ishpeming was defeated by Marquette (Marquette, MI), 57-47, in a league contest.
