Game Summary
Legacy showed that it's slow start against Liberty was not the only way they can play. Today the Lightning came out strong and found the back of the net in the first 10 minutes when Mooney penetrated on the left flank and hooked up with Rusk who scored on the near post after each of them beat a couple defenders. The game was under control until the Ralston Valley struck twice in the final 10 minutes of the half. The second half started with a quick RV goal and Legacy was unable to answer back. The game became quite physical with lots of fouls in both directions that went unchecked by officials. Ultimately the game saw a few yellow cars before a scuffle broke out in the 75th minute which led to a double ejection. RV found the goal twice more midway through the second half, including goals off poor clearances and bad first defending from Legacy.
