West Virginia High School Basketball - Sissonville nips Lincoln
February 18, 2017: Shinnston, WV 26431 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) and the host Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), saw Sissonville's basketball squad hold off Lincoln by a count of 62-58.
With the victory, Sissonville upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Indians host Roane County (Spencer, WV) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 8-10.
Next up, the Cougars play the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 81-50 non-league win over Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV).
