Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the visiting Valley Vikings (Sacramento, CA), 21-14 in a non-league test.

With the win, Natomas improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Matadors in a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. The Matadors go into the test with a record of 1-1. Mira Loma won 40-0 in their recent non-league test against Encina Prep (Sacramento, CA)

With the loss, Valley moves to 0-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Franklin (Elk Grove, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-0. Franklin won 45-0 in their recent non-league test against McNair (Stockton, CA)
