The Santa Margarita Eagles topped the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

The Eagles now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trabuco Hills for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 27. Santa Margarita will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-8.

The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Newport Harbor dropped by Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
