Florida High School Basketball - Portsmouth routs South Sumter
December 28, 2009: Bushnell, FL 33513 In Monday's non-league outing, the Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL), by a margin of 65-42.
The Patriots (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Corbin smashed Abingdon (Abingdon, VA), 55-22, in a non-league outing.
The Raiders now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Linden for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 30. South Sumter will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 53-39 non-league loss to Carmel (Carmel, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
