South Dakota High School Basketball - Vermillion over Tri-Valley
December 20, 2016: Colton, SD 57018 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) and the host Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD), saw Vermillion's basketball squad overcome Tri-Valley by a tally of 56-40.
With the victory, Vermillion improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tanagers travel to Tea (Tea, SD) to confront the Titans in a A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Tea lost 59-23 in their recent non-league challenge against McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Tri-Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Flyers come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 56-34 non-league loss to Deubrook (White, SD).
