The Newbury Park Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Crescenta Valley Falcons to 47 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Canada for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Newbury Park will meet a Spartans team coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Bonita (La Verne, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 23-4.
