September 25, 2015: Cherokee, NC 28719 The Murphy Bulldogs football squad scored 27 points and restricted the host Cherokee Braves to 6 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robbinsville for a Smoky Mountain 1A battle on Friday, October 2. Murphy will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 46-12 league win over Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-2.
