January 10, 2017: Chandler, AZ 85249 Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting San Luis Sidewinders (San Luis, AZ), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears confront the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) in a 6A Premier challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Basha will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Pumas enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Chandler (Chandler, AZ).
The Sidewinders now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cibola for a 6A Southern challenge on Friday, January 13. San Luis will confront a Raiders team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Raiders record now stands at 12-0.
