The Morton Potters football team (Morton, IL), was knocked off 26-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL)

The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion (Marion, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Marion was knocked off by Champaign Central (Champaign, IL), 49-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Potters now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Urbana for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 4. Morton will meet a Tigers team coming off a 38-16 non-league loss to University (Normal, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
