Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) fans went home content Monday as they observed their basketball team smash the visiting Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 71-31 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Napa Indians (Napa, CA) in a Monticello Empire game, on Friday, January 11. Rodriguez will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 8-9 record after their 68-44 non-league win over St. Patrick/St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA).
