In Monday's league contest, the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) softball team overwhelmed the host ThunderRidge Grizzlies (Highlands Ranch, CO), by a margin of 10-1.

With the triumph, Ponderosa moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Chaparral (Parker, CO) to play the Wolverines in a 5A Continental contest on Wednesday, September 28. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 11-4. Chaparral won 10-0 in their recent league contest against Legend (Parker, CO)

In their next game, the Grizzlies play the Arapahoe Warriors (Littleton, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 27. ThunderRidge will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 3-12 record after their 16-4 league loss to Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO).
