The South Beloit (IL) varsity football team won Friday's home conference game against Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL) by a score of 42-22.
The South Beloit Sobos football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Alden-Hebron Green Giants to 22 in the Sobos league victory on Friday.
The Sobos now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westminster Christian for a Northeastern battle on Saturday, October 15. South Beloit will face a Warriors squad coming off a 24-21 league loss to Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.
Coming up next, the Green Giants face the River Valley [Midland/Henry-Senachwine/Lowpoint-Washburn] Falcons (Varna, IL) in a Northeastern contest, on Saturday, October 15.
