In Friday's non-league game, the Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) football team knocked off the host Brush Arcs (Lyndhurst, OH), by a final score of 62-43.

The Cardinals (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH). The Red Raiders come into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Shaker Heights was dropped by Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH), 14-6, in a league game.
