San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Baboquivari Warriors (Sells, AZ), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Sabercats now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leading Edge Academy - GEC for a 2A Metro South challenge on Tuesday, March 27.

With the loss, Baboquivari falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Antelope (Wellton, AZ) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 9. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Antelope won 15-3 in their recent non-league challenge against San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA)
