The Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) football routed the visiting Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), 62-24 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Mayde Creek Rams (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 bout, on Saturday, October 6. Katy will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 56-33 league loss to Seven Lakes (Katy, TX).
