University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), 44-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 25-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Narbonne (Harbor City, CA) to encounter the Gauchos in a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. The Gauchos go into the bout with a record of 21-8. Narbonne won 64-38 in their recent non-league bout against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA)
