The Monroe Redhawks basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Weddington Warriors to 48 in the Redhawks league triumph on Monday.

The Redhawks now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a Southern Carolina 3A contest on Tuesday, December 12.

The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans enter the Southern Carolina 3A contest with a 3-3 record.
