Alaska High School Basketball - Cottage Grove crushes Nikiski
December 28, 2017: Nikiski, AK 99635 Cottage Grove Lions (Cottage Grove, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK), 63-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cottage Grove upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Lions host Douglas (Winston, OR) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Douglas lost 65-47 in their recent non-league bout against Cascade (Turner, OR)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) in a 3A Southcentral bout, on Thursday, January 11. Nikiski will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
