Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX), 78-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Plano West upgrades its record to 32-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Clear Lake (Houston, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 14. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 35-2. Clear Lake won 78-69 in their recent non-league game against Clemens (Schertz, TX)

With the defeat, MacArthur moves to 23-8 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Irving (Irving, TX) to face the Tigers in a 6A Region II District 9 game on Tuesday, March 17. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 9-22.
