The Millington Central Trojans thwarted the visiting Brighton Cardinals football team by a count of 20-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Millington Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans host Cordova (Cordova, TN) to encounter the Wolves in a AAA District 14 outing on Friday, September 5. The Wolves go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Cordova won 13-6 in their recent non-league outing against Kirby (Memphis, TN)
