February 24, 2015: Valparaiso, IN 46383 The Merrillville Pirates topped the host Morgan Township Cherokees basketball team by a final score of 72-54 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 27. Merrillville will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Kingsmen enter the game with a 19-4 record after their 69-51 league loss to Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN).
