Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Pella Dutch (Pella, IA), 48-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ballard upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Bombers travel to Assumption (Davenport, IA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 5. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Assumption won 72-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Keokuk (Keokuk, IA)
