Michigan High School Basketball - Catholic Central crushes Hastings
January 18, 2011: Lansing, MI 48912 Catholic Central Cougars (Lansing, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI), 68-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Catholic Central upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cougars host Portland (Portland, MI) to encounter the Raiders in a Capital Area - White bout on Friday, January 21. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Portland won 64-63 in their recent non-league bout against Bath (Bath, MI)
Next up, the Saxons encounter the Ottawa Hills Bengals (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Hastings will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
