The Giles Spartans basketball team (Pearisburg, VA), was toppled 63-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA)

The Bobcats now possess a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Radford will confront a Vikings team coming off a 74-47 league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 17-4.

The Spartans (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Graham (Bluefield, VA). The G-Men come into the non-league battle with a 17-5 record.
