California High School Softball - Santa Monica can't get by St. Paul
March 12, 2012: Santa Monica, CA 90405 In Monday's non-league contest, the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) softball team held off the host Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA), by a margin of 9-8.
With the triumph, St. Paul moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Swordsmen travel to West (Torrance, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league contest on Monday, March 12. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 2-3. West won 10-6 in their recent non-league contest against Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA)
In their next game, the Vikings play the Palos Verdes Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) in a Bay contest, on Wednesday, March 14. Santa Monica will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA).
