The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bishop Broncos (Bishop, CA) and the host Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA), observed Bishop's football squad edge Desert Christian by a count of 27-21.

The Broncos now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Rim of the World for a non-league contest on Friday, September 27. Bishop will encounter a Fighting Scots squad coming off a 40-13 non-league win over Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Knights encounter the Silver Valley Trojans (Yermo, CA) in a Desert Mountain contest, on Saturday, September 28. Desert Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 52-45 league win over Desert (Edwards AFB, CA).
