The Timmonsville Whirlwinds football team (Timmonsville, SC), was beaten 24-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC)

The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Volunteers come into the AA Region IV challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Andrew Jackson achieved victory over Laurens Academy (Laurens, SC), 15-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Whirlwinds now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Scott's Branch for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. Timmonsville will meet a Eagles team coming off a 25-6 non-league loss to Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
