Florida High School Basketball - Jackson overwhelms Palatka
December 8, 2015: Jacksonville, FL 32206 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Jackson Tigers (Jacksonville, FL) and the visiting Palatka Panthers (Palatka, FL), saw Jackson's basketball squad wallop Palatka by a tally of 76-47.
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Nation Ford was trounced by Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC), 73-44, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Ponte Vedra for a 5A District 5 test on Friday, December 11. Palatka will encounter a Sharks squad coming off a 73-43 league win over Menendez (St. Augustine, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 5-3.
