Center Vikings (Center, CO) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the host Salida Spartans (Salida, CO), 48-19 in a non-league test.

With the win, Center improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Basalt (Basalt, CO) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league test on Friday, September 11. The Longhorns go into the test with a record of 0-1. Basalt lost 21-6 in their recent non-league test against Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO)

With the loss, Salida moves to 0-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Lake County (Leadville, CO) to confront the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 12. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-2. Lake County lost 36-14 in their recent non-league test against Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO)
