September 17, 2015: Montgomery, AL 36104 Lanier Poets (Montgomery, AL) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles (Tuskegee, AL), 33-24 in a league test.
With the triumph, Lanier improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Poets travel to Jefferson Davis (Montgomery, AL) to battle the Volunteers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 24. The Volunteers come into the test with a record of 4-1. Jefferson Davis lost 31-23 in their recent league test against Lee (Montgomery, AL)
With the loss, Booker T. Washington drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Bullock County (Union Springs, AL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 25. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-5. Bullock County lost 17-6 in their recent league test against Headland (Headland, AL)
