Pennsylvania High School Soccer - New Covenant Christian knocks off Antietam
October 15, 2012: Lebanon, PA 17046 New Covenant Christian Flames (Lebanon, PA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Antietam Mountaineers (Reading, PA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Mountaineers now possess a 0-1 record.
Game Summary
Great game by the whole team we said good by to Toby Kornhaus, Nathan Dubble, Zack Dunkley, Sam Meese and Jevon Martin.
Flames started out behind by 2 but came back with a strong push in the first half and made it 2-2. At the start of the second half we fell behind 3-2 but after a goal by David Hubbard who followed his shot and poked it past the keeper, the team erupted for 3 more goals and a strong defensive second half. Great season Thank you families players and my assistant coach James Hubbard. I look forward to next season.
