The Chester Clippers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Pennsbury Falcons to 48 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Clippers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Interboro for a Delaware Valley contest on Sunday, January 1. Chester will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 60-41 non-league loss to Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-7.

The Falcons (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Council Rock South (Holland, PA). The Golden Hawks enter the Suburban One - National contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Council Rock South nudged Girard College (Philadephia, PA), 35-34, in a non-league contest.
