California High School Football - Desert thwarted by Rosamond
October 13, 2006: Rosamond, CA 93560 Rosamond Roadrunners (Rosamond, CA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they observed their football squad topple the visiting Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA), 28-15 in a league challenge.
The Roadrunners now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kern Valley for a High Desert test on Friday, October 20. Rosamond will battle a Broncs squad coming off a 23-14 league loss to Mojave (Mojave, CA). The Broncs record now stands at 1-5.
Next, the Scorpions battle the Bishop Broncos (Bishop, CA) in a High Desert test, on Friday, October 20. Desert will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Broncos go into the test with a 3-3 record after their 30-22 league win over Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA).
