September 14, 2012: Pittsburgh, PA 15205 The Carlynton Cougars football team (Carnegie, PA), was ripped 38-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Canevin Catholic Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Crusaders (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against California (Coal Center, PA). The Trojans come into the WPIAL A Black Hills challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, California was ripped by Clairton (Clairton, PA), 54-6, in a league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Serra Catholic for a WPIAL A Black Hills challenge on Friday, September 21. Carlynton will meet a Eagles team coming off a 44-13 league loss to Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
