Arizona High School Softball - Flagstaff nudges Higley
April 2, 2011: Gilbert, AZ 85297 Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they host Mohave for a 4A Grand Canyon challenge on Tuesday, April 12.
With the loss, Higley falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ) to battle the Sentinels in a 4A East Sky challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Sentinels enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Seton Catholic won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ)
