North Carolina High School Football - Anson can't get by Richmond
September 5, 2008: Rockingham, NC 28380 Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 21-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Richmond improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Swett (Pembroke, NC) to confront the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-1. Swett lost 18-8 in their recent league test against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)
With the loss, Anson drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to confront the Rebels in a South Piedmont test on Friday, September 12. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-0. Parkwood won 10-7 in their recent non-league test against South Stanly (Norwood, NC)
